But… I had an amazing Saturday evening which I simply must share!
When I learned the Field to Vase Dinner Tour would take place at Jello Mold Farm, I couldn’t wait for the evening to arrive. I bought my dinner tickets on March 17, 2015. It wasn’t until we checked in this past Saturday night, as my husband’s name was not initially on the invite list, that I learned I was the very first person to purchase tickets for the Jello Mold Farm dinner. That made me feel kinda special!
If you recall my last visit to Jello Mold Farm, I was blown away. The farm was amazing. It was perfect in every way a flower farm should be. I didn’t think it could get any better. Well, it did. All those dahlia’s as green plants standing thigh high were now towering at my eye level or higher. Now covered in dahlia blooms, the 4 acre farm was a piece of heaven.
The weather was perfect. I mean p.e.r.f.e.c.t! The temperature was perfect. I mean really p.e.r.f.e.c.t! The flowers designed by Terra Bella Flowers were perfect. I mean g.o.r.g.e.o.u.s! The owner Melissa Feveyear is an inspiration, and I hope to follow in her footsteps someday.
Rather than carry on and on like a silly person, I’m going to let the snapshots I captured throughout the evening tell the story. I will say this though….If you ever get an opportunity to sit down at the dinner table in the middle of a flower farm…. Do it! J
