Life is busy and moving at lightning speed.
Does this sound familiar?
It always feels like from October 31st on, life shifts into overdrive. I love the holidays, but DANG… can I catch a breath! And when I do get a chance to catch my breath, I’m a sucker for all these holiday DIY shows. I get sucked in like a raging river.
All of these ideas about lights, branches, homemade ornaments, peanut brittle, jellies, jams, and don’t even get me started on the Christmas cookies and desserts! I want to do it all. But it never happens.
On my desk, which at the moment is covered with papers and projects I need to get to, is a small wooden sign with carved letters, painted in black reading, Simplify. I bought this sign many years ago, because one I thought it was cute, but two because I think it’s funny in my world… like an oxymoron.
Holiday decorating doesn’t need to be complicated. We make it that way. We do it with the best of intentions.
I wanted to share a showstopper of an arrangement I created this week that was absolutely simple. So simple, that you don’t need to be a florist to do it.
I would LOVE to see your DIY projects too!
Share them online and let me see what amazingness you’ve created!
