How long has it been since you sat down and colored? 5 days? 5 months? 5 years? Even longer??? Here is your chance! This is fun for ALL AGES and a great opportunity to for kids and adults to talk about flowers.
There are an infinite number of topics to talk about flowers... the life cycle of plants, the parts of a flower, pollination, farming and agriculture, and the process of photosynthesis. How about the art of painting flowers or how flowers touch our senses? Aside from their beauty, flowers are an extremely important part of our life cycle. Without flowers, we wouldn't have apples for apple pie or honey for our tea. Without flowers, we wouldn't have the wonder and delight of Claude Monet's paintings to visit in museums. Without flowers, we wouldn't even have the Rose Bowl for college football! Ok, that last one was a stretch, but you get my point.
That's what makes supporting the American floral industry so important. When you buy local and sustainable flowers, you are helping the local economy, minimizing the risk of exposure to harmful fertilizers and pesticides in your home, and creating more jobs for your fellow friends and neighbors.
Now let's get to the good stuff... the contest! It's super easy and fun. No purchase is required and the best part, someone is going to win a gorgeous arrangement of flowers! This contest has no boundaries in the United States. If I can't make it, I'll make sure you get a bundle in your area.
